Everything that makes Sunflower Game tick

Great games need more than good rules. Here's what we built around them so your time at the table is quick, fair and actually enjoyable.

Tables fill in seconds

Pick a game and you're usually seated before you've finished your sip of chai. No long lobby waits.

Matchmaking looks for players at a similar level and table size, so you're not waiting around. If a table doesn't fill quickly, the app offers you another one rather than leaving you staring at an empty seat.

Private rooms for friends

Create a room, share the code on WhatsApp, and play with the people you actually know.

Private rooms work in Ludo, Rummy, Callbreak and Carrom. You choose the rules and the table size, and only people with your room code can sit down. It's the easiest way to keep a weekly family game going when everyone lives in different cities.

Light on your phone

Around 48 MB to download and it runs smoothly on budget Android phones, not just the latest flagships.

We test on older and cheaper handsets on purpose. Graphics scale down automatically on slower phones, and there's a battery saver mode that lowers animations when you're running low.

Handles weak internet

Dropped signal for a moment? Your seat is held so you can reconnect and carry on.

The game uses very little data per round and is built to cope with patchy 3G and 4G. If you disconnect, you get a grace period to come back before the table moves on without you.

Fair play, every deal

Cards are shuffled and dice rolled with a random generator. Suspicious behaviour gets flagged and reviewed.

Every shuffle and roll is independent. On top of that, we watch for collusion and bots at tables — accounts that break the rules are removed. You can also report a player directly from the table.

Daily rewards

Log in, spin the daily wheel, and complete small tasks for free bonus coins.

There's a daily login streak, a free spin, and a handful of simple missions like 'win two Ludo games'. They're a nice extra, not a requirement — you can play every game without them.

Stickers & quick chat

Tease your friends with stickers and preset messages, without any awkward open chat.

Quick chat keeps things friendly: preset phrases and animated stickers, with the option to mute anyone at the table. There's no open text chat with strangers, which keeps the tables pleasant.

Levels & leaderboards

Climb weekly leaderboards and unlock new table themes as you level up.

Each game has its own weekly leaderboard, so a Carrom specialist isn't competing with a Rummy grinder. Levelling up unlocks card backs, board themes and avatar frames.

Play-time controls

Set reminders and limits so a quick game stays a quick game.

You can set a daily play-time reminder, take a short break with one tap, or pause your account for a longer period. We think these tools matter, so they're easy to find in settings.

Behind the scenes

The stuff you don't notice (and shouldn't)

Most of the work in a game like this is invisible. It's the reconnect that happens quietly when you walk into a lift. It's the card animation that feels snappy on a four-year-old phone. It's making sure the shuffle is properly random and nobody at the table is secretly working together.

We'd rather spend a month on those details than add another flashy mode nobody asked for. When we do add something new, it's usually because players kept asking — the Ludo team mode and private Callbreak rooms both came from player feedback.

Got an idea? Tell us. We read everything.

Designed for real phones and real networks

A lot of our players are on mid-range or budget Android phones, often on mobile data. So the Sunflower Game download is kept small, the app uses very little data per round, and graphics scale down automatically on slower devices. If you're travelling or your signal is weak, there's a low-data mode that cuts animations even further.

Fair play isn't a feature, it's the baseline

We don't really like listing fairness as a 'feature', because it should be the minimum. But since it's the first thing people ask about: every card shuffle and dice roll is random and independent. We actively look for bots and collusion, and players can report suspicious behaviour from any table.

Tools to keep it fun

Games are meant to be a break, not a burden. That's why play-time reminders, cool-off periods and self-pause options sit right in the settings menu rather than buried five screens deep. Read more on our responsible gaming page.

Ready for your first hand?

The Sunflower Game download is free, takes about a minute on a normal connection, and you can be sitting at a Rummy or Ludo table right after.
